Great scrots everyone!

@ Willeo Soeurs: How's subtle? Thought about playing around with it for some time now.

Anyway, Herbstluftwm as usual, played around with transparency & colors:

My expression when you said "slug" was exactly the same as Mr. Wayne's.
Spiffy muted colors and term bg. You shared that blend yet?
Noticed the chroma noise on parts of the slug. What iso and lighting was that shot in?

Yeah, Dai-chan's to blame for a lot of my WM preferences lately. That Gilles Peterson mix-album he's featuring on his blog is brilliant, btw.
I too need to get OpenBSD up and running one of these days. Still need to do some research on Broadcrap drivers. Their ISO being CD-only doesn't help either (on my netbook, at least). Seems I'll need to read up on the netboot install. Aaah, so many distros, so little time >_<

Nice shadows. Cute wallpaper too.
What's the difference between subtle-hg and the standard subtle package, anyway?

Looks awesome. Love the palette and how it contrasts with the gray wallpaper. Also diggin the padding between windows. Your dzen2 layout's pretty nice as well. Simple and efficient without those funny pixel icons that clutter up so many dzen panels these days.

Emacs using darkmate theme…

# emacsclient --eval "(emacs-version)"
"GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit)\n of 2011-09-19 on rs780"

Emacs 24 (git) ./configure with --with-x-toolkit=athena (details about compiling Emacs git [fr])
Running as server, as a result: good performances.
Emacs was crashing with GTK+ when used as a server… no problem now!

# du -hs ~/.emacs.d
18M /home/dimitri/.emacs.d

My emacs customization is really heavy! (but this folder contains byte-compiled .elc files too)
I use Emacs since 2007… I first used it on Mac OS X.

Haven't been using #! for a while, re-installed last night when my previous setup went, ironically, crunch bang. I know i'm a dirty filthy thief and can't come up with anything original but here's another gutterslob rip-off to get me started back with this fantabulous OS:

tYXA4aQ

tYXA4ag

At least the tint2 and the conky are my own work! I plan to add more to this/change stuff but i love the BLUENESS right now.

EDIT: and the MoC too. I'm a one man configurating machine, is what i am.

I guess you didn't expect me, the clicky-clicky-widgety guy, to answer that huh?! big_smile

Well, actually I can't really other than say that you can now use "border" on the view icons/names in the bar. I'll show it on my screenshot which I'll post soon.

(to be honest: I think I prefer my Compiz for now cool)

EDIT: Actually, the whole theming thing got revamped in the newer versions

Second try at Subtle. Urxvt tabs needs some coloring, as do the Sublets, and I need to take a good look at the tag system again. Other than that, quite satisfied:

Yeah, but Crunchbang seems also nice though I havent test it yet. That is because I am too lazy and because I have a working system that is very stable. Hell, I am so lazy that I still use aterm!!! smile

I even removed the Statler repo, so I'm basically running Squeeze proper, but with a bunch of compiled programs, and I do get the urge to do an upgrade to Sid (apt's simulate switch for a dist-upgrade doesn't report any problems), but then I remember all the GTK2 to GTK3 conversion mess and just leave it alone.
