Hi Xaos,
I tried
sudo apt get install bootchart bootchart-viewBut it doesn't works for me.
I installed bootchart downloading the package from his web, but after reboot no bootchart.png was out... Sorry
Edit: perhaps try adding -noacpi to boot command line in grub? See if it makes a difference.
How can I do this?

I have emphasized a message that could provide a solution.
Looking into that further now.
Perhaps moving to a more recent kernel might help.
But please wait a bit till I ( or someone else ) comes up with a more concrete suggestion.

Thanks Xaos52,
Ok, I will wait the solution.

OK. I would migrate to latest kernel in backports:
1. add backports repo if you havent already done so
2. sudo apt-get install update
3. sudo apt-get install linux-image-2.6-686-pae
this should install linux-image 2.6.39+35.1~bpo60+1
4. reboot with the new kernel
5. post new dmesg.log
thanks

I don't know if the backports repo are added.
How to add?
Offline
edit /etc/apt/sources.list with your preferred editor, as root
The file probably contains these 2 lines:
## DEBIAN BACKPORTS
# deb http://backports.debian.org/debian-backports squeeze-backports main contrib nonfreeRemove the first 2 characters from that line
Then save the file

...but we have been running #! on steam engines and microwave ovens, so age shouldn't matter
thanks, did not notice that one sentence in between all the logs and stuff
and while i agree that the age of a device should not matter for #! to run, it will matter if the device you're trying to run it on is broken because of that age. but that is the most meaningful thing i can add to this discussion, so i'll leave you guys to it with the logs and stuff, and hope for the OP's sake this isn't a hardware issue.

Hi friends,
the problem is solved... The hard drive is broken. I couldn't do anything and wasn't able to run again.
No HD at BIOS. I started with Puppy Linux without hard drive installed and work fine.
This afternoon i'll try bought a new hard drive and start again.
Thank you very much for your help.
See you soon.

@Aleph: post some stuff on Soundcloud for us too so we can actually hear you play after staring for minutes at the awesomeness of that picture

^ The colour scheme fits #! quite well, but doesn't look like rock & roll at first sight. However, +1 for a soundcloudish sample, Aleph. "Conciertos para amigos." That's us. We are waiting
BTW A pity that the drive broke, but I had a similar experience (damn you, Western Digital!) and there's nothing you can do about it.
