Have a look at df -i to see if it's maybe showing you the inode table. It could also be showing the wrong partition. Inter partition hardlinks? Funny symlinks to /proc made by obscure power management tools?
Try to create a file that is 28.2 GiB or larger. This way you'll see if it's only a little stupid and gives you 10% steps.
#cat /dev/urandom > /tmp/blablablailovemyfileI personally would s/\$alignr\ \$\{fs\_used\_perc\ .*\}//g, I letting a computer calculate your percentages is lazy anyway.
