Re: Conky forgot to take some math lessons

Have a look at df -i to see if it's maybe showing you the inode table. It could also be showing the wrong partition. Inter partition hardlinks? Funny symlinks to /proc made by obscure power management tools?

Try to create a file that is 28.2 GiB or larger. This way you'll see if it's only a little stupid and gives you 10% steps.

#cat /dev/urandom > /tmp/blablablailovemyfile

I personally would s/\$alignr\ \$\{fs\_used\_perc\ .*\}//g, I letting a computer calculate your percentages is lazy anyway.

Re: Conky forgot to take some math lessons

I don't really mind the error, otherwise I would have posted it in the Help & Support forum. Here is my df -i.

Filesystem Inodes IUsed IFree IUse% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 9371648 168911 9202737 2% /
tmpfs 494689 4 494685 1% /lib/init/rw
udev 492773 786 491987 1% /dev
tmpfs 494689 5 494684 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sdb 0 0 0 - /media/disk

Re: Conky forgot to take some math lessons

As google tells me this is a known issue. Dunno if there's a bug report for that.
