Another newbie here to say hi

Hello Fellow Crunch Bang Linux users,
Yesterday, I forgot what I was doing, but I stumbled across this little website, and I liked it, so I tried it, and after having a little trouble with unetbootin (I know, I know, I'm still learning, bear with me!), I buckled down, and followed the scary terminal instructions and now it works! Yay! I especially like conky. I've been using linux on and off for a few years now, dual-booting, but since I got a new thinkpad edge back in december, I made the leap to unibooting bahaha.

I've tried (not in any particular order): ubuntu, system rescue cd (does that even count?), mandriva, meego, moblin, debian, jolicloud, linux mint, red hat (was my first disto, I think!), suse, slax, kubuntu, xubuntu, and lubuntu (which isn't even official yet), and I'm pretty sure I have a netBSD cd lying around here somewhere from a few years back (doubt I actually had the balls to try it). As you can tell, I've done my share of distro hopping; but this is the first forum I've signed up for, so here's to hoping I stay with #!

The only thing that doesn't work right out of the box is the sound card, so I'm off to search the forums/internet for a (hopefully) quick fix!

Many people don't manage to get #! on USB with unetbootin, so don't take this seriously big_smile
Even though the sound doesn't work out of the box - the forums do! tongue
