[Solved]Scrotwm doesn't seem to be working

Edit: Apparently Alt is the meta-key. I was pressing the windows-key and that's why nothing happened roll

Old post:

I just installed scrotwm. I logged out from my OpenBox session, selected scrotwm and then logged in again. I tried the keybindings at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sc … ng_scrotwm but they are not working. All I see is a bar at the top of the screen that says:

1:2 [ | ]  Fri Jul 08 12:49 CEST 2011

The time is automatically updating so it isn't frozen. I can also move my mouse around.

I had to shut down my computer using the power-button since that's the only way I could do it. I've tried all the keybindings at the link I provided but nothing happens. I've understood that the Meta-key is the windows-key.

Re: [Solved]Scrotwm doesn't seem to be working

you can change the alt key with super-key by modifying the Mod option in .scrotwm.conf.
Just change it to MOD4 and you have super/windows key as the meta key. smile
