Ok, I new to the forum, and I love CrunchBang, And so far I could always find a good solution if I wanted to tweak something(usually on this forum), but I got to a Problem where I couldn't quite find a solution.
It's probably so easy that no one has mentioned it.
I want my windows to snap instead of using this resistance concept, I found that Openbox should be capable of doing that:
http://icculus.org/openbox/2/rc.php#ses … WindowSnap
But, since the RC looks rather different in the Openbox here in CrunchBang, since it is in XML, and I can't quite work out how I can change it, because the resistance thing is setup right at the top of the "rc.xml" as:
<resistance>
<strength>10</strength>
<screen_edge_strength>10</screen_edge_strength>
</resistance>So how can I get my CrunchBang/Openbox to snap, instead of using the resistance method.
It's probably really easy.
Well, it would be cool if someone could help me.
(And of cource I have tried google, and I look through the forums and couldn't find anything :/ )

First, I am not an openbox user, so take what I am giving you with a grain of salt.
But the pages you are looking at concerning window snapping are for openbox 2. Crunchbang uses openbox 3, which is a complete rewrite and is not necessarily compatible with openbox 2 configuration options. I do not have an answer to your question, unfortunately, but I can direct you to the openbox 3 configuration help page (which makes no mention of window snapping, I'm afraid):
Me: I talk to myself
Myself: Yes, I know.
I: Both of you shut up!
