Little history about me.
I am a web designer / security (cameras, access controls, software)
I use centos for servers.
Now i used ubuntu 9.04 BUT when they upgraded i had nothing but issues so on the search i went for a debian based distro.
Next was Debian itself but it was not good for the wife, I could use it but was not user friendly to her.
So back to searching again.
Next was a couple odd balls here and there but ended up with.
PCLinuxOS, now this was a great distro (independent) BUT when they went and upgraded Open ffice and some other issues aired so i did not want to mess with it anymore.
On the hunt again, so i ended up with Mepis it was ok but there was jsut something about it i did not like so i only had it for about 2 days.
Then on the hunt one more time and found CRUNCHBANG!! and let me tell ya the SPEED after it is installed AMAZES me!!
IT is a little different and takes a little getting used to but I managed to get all my things that i needed working fine very quickly.
Mainly needed programs are as follows and i have them ALL working just fine:
Wine
Skype
Jokosher
OpenOffice
Teamviewer
Oricale Virtual Machine
And some other odd ball ones.
But this distro is nice and pretty easy to work with.
I am still having some issues with my skype and bluetooth using blueman, but worjking on that now.
Oh and i am really sick of everyone calling Crunchbang an UBUNTU distro when it is a debian distro (correct?)
I despise ubuntu now because of the corporate crap they did and the updates.
Oh one more thing does anyone know how i can kill adobe 10.2 and put 10.1 back on crunchbang ?

The flash plugin is stored in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, just download the version you want to use and put it in there.

Ok well the skyoe works fine EXCEPT i sound like Satan ? Any ideas ? I have removed and re-installed skyoe and still same thing.
I tried Jokosher (sound editor) and works fine in that.
