I'm trying to write the iso to my usb drive with the recommended way.(http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/statler_usb_installation) and the program can not find the iso image even when i type in .iso like it says to. Schould I just type in the rest of the filename or will that not work?

I've tried to do it that way too. I didn't succeed however. do you have a working linux system?
if so than go to here: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … ltisystem/
and follow that. it worked for me.
multisystem is pretty easy to use. you should figure it out.

Whenever someone calls me a computer 'nerd' or a 'Unix-based-system'
all I can think is: You just wait. In a couple of years. I'll be your IT. Then where will you be!

You need a wildcard. try *.iso the * tells it to show ALL the files ending in .iso let me know if that woks.
Also i didnt have much luck with that recommended method. I used unetbootin, then used gparted to add some persistence. this works very well!

Typing from Crunchbang! I used Universal Linux Pendrive Installer http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal- … -as-1-2-3/ and it worked with the .iso I already downloaded. Also no I didn't have linux on my computer, I used Linux Mint a year ago, and am starting to use linux again but with Crunchbang. So far it has been a teriffic distro. Hats off to the creator, this is a great little distro.
