[SOLVED]Screen keeps going to sleep

My screen keeps going to sleep on my eM250 netbook.  I've checked all the sliders in the monitor tab for the Xfce power manager, and they'ree all set to "never", on both battery and AC.  I can't find any options in the BIOS that would force the computer to fall asleep, and it didn't fall asleep when I had Windows 7 installed.  I've also dicked around with the xset commands in the terminal, set the DPMS settings 9standby, suspend, and off) to 0.  Prefer blanking's been turned off, as well.

I've seen a few guides that reference /etc/X11/xorg.conf/, but I can't seem to find it.

Does anyone know what I might be able to do to stop the screen from blanking out?  It's getting really annoying.

Thanks in advance

Maybe your screen saver ?
menu > settings > screensaver

Set to never I think it is defaulted to 10 mins

You should be able to disable it or bump up the time
