I'm running #! OpenBox and have discovered the display dims and then goes blank after a few minutes even though I've disabled the screensaver and set everything to not dim.What is the problem? My equipment is a Dell Inspiron 1525 with everything pretty much as it left the factory aside from more ram and a larger HDD any suggestions would help BTW I just started using #! the other day after using Mint 9,10, and LMDE over the past year.
Everything has it's place in my home; Linux on my computer, windows on the wall, & M$ in the trash!!!

By default the display dims after 5 mins on battery and 10 when not (I think). You can change this by using the xfce-power-manager (think it's installed on both the Openbox and Xfce version but I'm not home so I can't verify this):
$ xfce4-power-manager
