Hello Everyone,

When I hold shift the keyboard language flips through all possibilities until i let go.
Is there anyway to change this?

Thanks,

Re: Holding shift causes Keyboard Lang to change

What keyboard layout do you use, and which is your localization? Do you use an input method like iBus or SCIM?

Re: Holding shift causes Keyboard Lang to change

Im on a thinkpad T61p with a regular US keyboard layout.
Im not sure about the iBus/SCIM, its a pretty clean install of #!

Re: Holding shift causes Keyboard Lang to change

One thing that was a problem in rc1 (I'm not sure if this is fixed in the final revision) was that whatever you chose in the installer, gb was selected as the keymap.  Maybe there's some problem with that?

yes, true. Those days in Ubuntu-based CB one had to uncomment the corresponding line in autostart.sh. Still there was an issue in Alpha 2: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … wn-issues/

Another thing: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/86179/#p86179 A Thinkpad keyboard layout problem got fixed by editing  /etc/default/keyboard  as root, it should look like this:

XKBMODEL="pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="us"
XKBVARIANT=""
XKBOPTIONS=""
