@piernik - what GTK theme is that?

I'm posting just because I really like this wallpaper...:D
Fullscreen
Yes, that is one of my favorites :-) Been using it for a long time. Happen to have found anything similar? I really enjoy the darker, abstract wallpapers.

I have the same one, clipped to 1280x1024.
Here's one I found while searching for "Blade Runner" even though I don't recall it from the movie, makes for a nice wallpaper though:

Took a break from messing about trying to get ScrotWM working and played around with good old OpenBox! Using a few conkys, tilda and ncmpcpp, and gutterslob's aiko theme. Oh, and ditched tint2 and gave trayer a go for a change.
Have been using dmenu a lot lately and it's awesome
. I like how clean this setup is.
Yesterday you said tomorrow.

I like it a lot ! Mookid is my favourite openbox theme.
Love the wall also.

./ Himster
Funky windecs!! A tad busier than your usual, yes ... but sweet nonetheless.
Great looking startpage *hint-hint*
./ Ocularis
Been a while since I used WMFS. Your Xdef colors are.... strong!!
Like your dzen2. Looks a lot like k3ttc4r/crshd's setups.
./ Eye-Patch
Holy sh*t!! That is pretty darn awesome. I sorta knew you were up to something mad, but never imagined anything like that. The windecs look sweet as well (those are windecs, right?) Did Scout update her gallery? Don't recall anything mountainous the last time I checked. I couldn't even tell they started out snowcapped looking at your mod. Props to Jacko for the red.
./ Piernik
Bright and clean!!
Lovely wallpaper as well.... almost the same shades as my previous .Xdefaults colourscheme =P
./ Gazoo
Nice to know there's someone (you poor soul) using the crappy themes I made. I approve of your use of Artwiz fonts. I'm flattered, truly, but please!!.... get rid of the icons in the windecs!!
Yes, dmenu is awesome. You do realize that #! had it all along, right? =P
Oh, did you manage to get a tray working in ScrotWM, btw?

I have decide that I will not post anything in the monthly screenshot threads from now on. There is no sense!
My conky changes once in a blue moon and wallpapers are ... well ... wallpapers.
I use themes that are modified a "little" by me. They have not changed in I don't know how long under threat of "pain and punishment" from the better half ---- BUT ----
I am lurking!

Something about the way you put this post made me laugh, haha
Your themes are great, man. Don't know why but they always stay for a lot longer than most others. And GAH i didn't even notice those bloody icons! Talk about tunnel vision!
It was a nice surprise knowing that dmenu was in the distro by default, saved me the trouble of an apt-get command, lol. Really easy to use. I don't know why i haven't been using it already.
I think i'm going to do a fresh install of statler and scrotwm on a spare laptop and try it fresh. Stalonetray seems to bug out all the time and move places, then crash X. I don't know if the two are related, but meh. I need to do something with this spare laptop anyways. It's still got windoze on it right now. It exploded about a year ago and i managed to fix it, so it deserves a nice OS
.

You have a very nice setup. I really like it.
Would you please teach me how to make your terminal look so beautiful with those color palettes displayed? Please?
Thanks.

@ gutterslob
Your work has always amazed me, the simplicity of it, is it's beauty, no wonder people copy you. Where did you find that wallpaper in your last post? I love it.
@ Him
That is so un-#! in it whiteness. Reminds me of an OLD commercial for 7-Up "the un-cola"
A bit bright for me, but very nice work!
@ illumin8
I've never been able to use the "buttonless" themes (my wife uses the computer too) but I love them.
Like your conky as well. Do you think I'm prejudiced?
(opinion) I would, making a new copy for this wallpaper only, and have it follow the curve of the design just to the left of the conky.

Thanks man.
I thought you weren't so fond of dark desktops.
./ Himster
That's still my fave wallpaper from Cope's collection.
Simple in it's conception, but complex in it's sensibility. Your milky theme compliments it well.
Good stuff.
./ Luminous
Very nice. Admittedly been a while since I played with a full 256color mode in urxvt (don't really need it). Last time was when I ran Arch, using trapd00r's scripts. What's your terminal emulator, and did you set the 256color option during compile time, or did you patch it after installation?
./ SR-71
People are copying me?!! ... I need a lawyer!!... Oh wait, it's all open source.... Damn!! >_<
I make most of my wallpapers, mate. That one's just a plain texture, massaged and noised up. That one I only have in netbook size, but I made you another one @ 1920 x 1200;
If you do plan to use it, make sure you crop it to your monitors exact resolution. If you don't crop and scale it to fit instead, the texture will 'compress' and it'll appear a bit smoother (which you might prefer, depending on how manly you feel today) . If your monitor is bigger than 1920 x 1200, then you're rich enough to go pay someone to make one in your size. =P

1. Your fault - you gave up that other OS
2. If that ever happens I'll "hire" you, hows that, feel better now?
I plan on using it "as is", well with a "cut|paste" job since this is larger than my res: 1280x1024. I want it for itself and as a background for other wallpapers I have. Those that have a "solid black" back that is boring!
Example: gSlob & SR-71 having a coffee and using my tint2 bar as the coffee table:

Would you like a coffee cake with that?
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Well look at that, it was so dark I didn't even see it! The one before that.

>subdivision 22/2 - good call on the curving line. i actually tried that at first using spaces, but it needs some ${align*} work. Also, I just undecorate the windows for screenshots:)

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install colortestthen run the command colortest -16 or colortest-256 respectively.
>r/consonants*/burn - ranger is cool, but it needs some heavy configuring to be usable on a daily basis. One of the cool things about it is the ability to set default launchers for file types, and viewers for documents/images so either scrolling over or hitting enter launches the defined default program. Its a cool idea.

My friend took some amazing photos of some kittens recently. Every time I look at my monitor it makes me laugh. At work I'm in charge of a (linux powered) plasma screen, and I've snook in this background pic to display for 1 second between the other (boring) slides. I watched with interest people's double takes today. Office work eh?
