ello from the US

as of the last couple months i have been on a linux kick, getting quite bored with my Windows 7 builds. So i started in the only place i knew, Ubuntu. From there i branched like a virus testing every distro i could get my hands on (linux mint, freeBSD, netBSD, Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, KUbuntu, EdUbuntu, XUbuntu... well you get the idea. Then a few days ago i notice on Distrowatch.com the site that i check daily for new distros, that CrunchBang had a new release. Usually when downloading a distro for me its all about the first impression, the look and feel of the distro. If it doesn't have a GUI than im kinda intimidated by it and have more unlikely to try it. But CrunchBang seemed to have a nice looking GUI, so i thought i'd give it a try. And to my amazement it is probably the best distro i have liked in a while besides the original Ubuntu.

Im not a n00b at linux but i am no expert either. Just a computer junky who enjoys tinkering around with things. I may be a 20 yr old college student but i know my stuff.

You might want to take a look at http://susestudio.com/ if you're in an experimenting mood.

I think we're much cooler, but...
