Howdy!

YANG here (yet another new guy) big_smile

I'd heard some folks recommending CB a couple years ago on the Ubuntu forums; by the time I got around to 'discovering' it for myself it was right after the announcement that CB was moving to Debian.  I liked what I saw of CB, but wasn't sure how long such a project might take so while I had a copy installed in VirtualBox on my MacBook for occasional use, that was about as far as it went.

A couple days ago I saw that Statler was alive and well, based off Squeeze.  So, I had to try it.

Gotta say, I like the 'dark' theme wink  It especially goes well on my white Macbook, where I have a white background, etc.  Very nice contrast between the 'light side' and the 'dark side' lol

Also, in the 'modern' times of 'wizards' for everything, CB is a breath of fresh air.  Short and simple, no more than necessary, and no less.  Definitely nice given that my aging MacBook wasn't exactly a speed daemon out of the box, much less now close to four years later.  Any OS running in a VM on it has to be able to function on pretty limited resources... which Statler does nicely.

Thanks for all the work.  Now I have a nice little spot to work on all those things I never had time for before... like bending vim, mutt, slrn & irssi to my will wink

Yeah, a lot of us had the same "breath of fresh air" experience...
