[SOLVED] wallpaper & clock problem

Hey guys just installed Statler Alpha 2 Openbox x86
and im having this little problem i cant change the wallpaper tried various different ones. nothing happens
also i dont know how to change the time anyone can help me out please ?

to change time:

sudo date --set hh:mm:ss
sudo date --set yyyy-mm-dd

and nitrogen should work for changing wallpaper, i don't know anything else
