So.
I have an email account at service x; I linked the account to my gmail box and I get mail from there regularly. The problem is, I totally forgot the password from the email box x, so I can't login to the original email box. I have no way to verify the account the traditional way (I forgot the hint question, I didn't put any alternative email address in the registration form). Is there a way to extract the password from the gmail? Could it be somewhere in the settings?
Any hints will be much appreciated.

Unless account x has a way to reset your password, I think your stuck .

i once forgot the password for my uni email, the only option available (remotely) was emailing the password to the account you couldn't remember the password to, didn't sound very helpful at the time but if the facility exists it would actually be useful here.
