I have just stumbled upon Crunchbang and I am enjoying it sooooooooo much, but I can't seem to get my wifi card to work. I have done the system update. I have an IBM Thinkpad A22m with a Pentium III processor. I really don't know what else to tell you guys, but.........
PS I have already followed the instructions on this thread. Drivers were installed but my card is not usable.

So can you see wireless networks and just not connect to them or is there just no wireless period?

can't see the wireless networks at all.
The card has lights on it.
i tried it on #! last week. It worked perfectly but i think #! has a bug in the login manager, cuz when I changed the login theme in GDM....It froze on my next login. so now I have reinstalled and I have this problem. oy.

Were you using wicd before you reinstalled? Also, I'm assuming you've installed the same version you had last week, but it doesn't hurt to be sure.

I'm sure it's using the network manager by default. Hm alright, in your terminal type: sudo ifconfig wlan0 up
