[Confirmed] Alpha 2 Java Problem

Embedded videos on CNN.com no longer work under alpha2.  Perhaps something to do with the new JVM.  Can I revert to whatever was being used in alpha1?

Re: [Confirmed] Alpha 2 Java Problem

Also problems with http://www.map24.nl which is waiting forever till the applet is loaded, but did not check it with Alpha 1.

When I disable the IcedTea NPR Web Browser and Shockwave Flash plugins in Iceweasel, the browser is falling back to it's defaults without Java and the website is working again, so it seems a problem with Java.

Re: [Confirmed] Alpha 2 Java Problem

Just to add a little note, there's also a problem with the BBC's iPlayer website. Each time I try to watch a programme, there's a pop-up warning saying there's an unresponsive script, and then the player continues to show the programme, but none of the controls work.

Is there any work around for the IceTea problem?  Switching to lemonaid perhaps?

I can confirm difficulties with Java in Iceweasel.
