January wallpapers (post yours here)

I started this thread as (Left sided conky), but suddenly realized there is not a monthly wallpaper thread.
I could do a monthly screenshot thread, but I am sure someone else will create it. I like the monthly screenshot thread, just so it keeps me from having a boring desktop, and gives me a reason to create more wallpapers.
This is why I created this thread, not to post all your wallpapers, just the ones you made the month of January. Since am having fun with this newly modified Ubuntu, I will make quite a bit of art for it. Hope you do not mind... wink

Here is a wallpaper I created from my carbonfibercrunchbangtux...
The background is partially transparent, and has a slight dropshadow to the carbonfiber, which allows it to be visible even on light or even white background selections. I also have a highlighted layer of carbon fiber which allows it to be visible even on solid black color selection for the background. So, select the color you like to give it your own personal touch.

No, it is NOT a white penguin!
He is actually partially transparent, and whatever background color you choose, he will become...

I like these wallpapers that leave room for conky. Someone who has a right sided conky can just flip in gimp.

Re: January wallpapers (post yours here)

This is a HUGE wallpaper in kb and pixels but it might be worth it.

A semi-transparent wallpaper with the #! CRUNCHBANG LINUX made in broken glass.

Edit: After making the last wallpaper, I looked at it and figured somebody will not like the text, so here it is again, without the text.

Here's an alteration to a wallpaper that I made a while ago: Dream Field - White
