Dear Community,
I've had a recent hard drive failure on my home desktop (which acts as a Hamachi tunnel Proxy and backup box for my other computers). I've run a #! server for other home uses but never for a primary computer. I've tried many distros but keep coming back to #! because it's the perfect interface and has amazingly low system requirements.
I'm hoping to get a little help with 2 issues that I've been unable to resolve through the use of Google and forums. Here are my current issues:
-Network browsing - haven't been able to succeed with PyNeighborhood. What else can I try or what should I do differently? I know Ubuntu had it natively... do I need to install Nautilus to allow this?
-Hamachi - Succeeded at installing but hung up on how to add this Linux Hamachi box to my existing networks... Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks for any help you're able to lend.
#!er Novice
PS- <3 Openbox based #!. My #! server has uptime that lasts from power-outage to power-outage

I still use Nautilus because it's a no brainer. To keep all the gnome dependencies out I install it with:
sudo apt-get -no-install-recommends install nautilusThis installs the bare minimum to run nautilus and corenominal's cb-bad-nautilus script will stop it overtaking your desktop
