funny mounting issue

I run statler on an eee901 and I love it, but there is a minor bug considering mounting external devices that I own.

I have a external hdd and an mp3 player with an micro sd card in it. The thing is, when I try to mount the mp3 player before having mounted the hdd, only the microsd card gets mounted, not the internal player memory. The hdd doesn't have to be plugged in when mounting the mp3, it just has to have been mounted at least once before plugging in the player.

Like I said, it's not a major problem, but it would be nice to know the reason for it
