Hi all,
I've been trying to figure out how to install windows xp from a usb stick for a friends' netbook but I can't seem to make it work from my linux machines. All of the windows live usb solutions I've found don't seem to work from my linux/wine environment. I'm on a netbook also but I have an image of the xp pro install cd. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Devin

Which methods have you tried? Heres two results I found via google:
http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/08/27 … with-wint/
http://www.msfn.org/board/install-winse … 20444.html

I've seen both those posts previously and all of the windows utilities for migrating a cd to a usb stick have failed for me in wine

What exactly failed?
