EDIT BY CORENOMINAL:
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the March screenshot thread, there was some awesome and inspiring artwork submitted!
Please continue to use thumbnails linking to the larger image to help those of us with slow connections. An example of the code needed is below. Most image hosting sites will automatically generate this for you as well.

This is my usual desktop with my black and white Conky:
And this is my black and green setup with weather:
Wallpaper by omns
Conky adapted from one created by Bruce for Tota Linux
Tint2 is standard with 4 desktops
Using Wicd instead of Network Manager, Swiftfox instead of Iceweasel and Xfce4 Terminal instead of Terminator.

I kind of like setting up this one each month but hey no problem, I've been busy today

Most people would complain about this one, so I'll just post a link without thumb.

Warning: 8/10 people can't seem to agree with this colour combo. (not like I give a damn, cos I like it)
That's very nice.

Just a basic conky setup and a simple tint2 that i stole from someone in the tint2 thread.
But I have a problem. I put the Any Colour You Like icons into my .icons folder, but they just come out as black silhouettes. Is there some trick to making them work properly?

GTK + OBT = http://www.mediafire.com/?ji2jmyxxzwn
Icons are Any Color You Like = http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ … ent=102435 (run the included script and enter #224058 for the color)

^Nice job, Berk.
Don't think you can get more muted than this.
Not sure how well it works with apps like GIMP, Inkscape or OpenOffice, but it's perfectly usable with the usual stuff I run on my netbook.</snip>
Looks classy, and would definitely be easy on the eyes in the dark. But how does it fair in sunlight?

^Dunno.
I turned on all the lights in the room and it was more than usable.
I don't really sit in a park in the middle of the day and use my netbook anyway (it's suicidal here in the tropics)

I've never used my netbook in sunlight before just now. I have to admit that all the dark themes I use - about as dark as gutterslob's latest submission - completely disappear in direct sunlight. Even the brighter "standard" themes like Clearlooks are dim in those conditions! I haven't tried any dark high contrast themes yet though.

Such remarkable desktops you have there, again!
As for me, I'm just very gradually personalizing the default #! Statler look.
(Hmm... I wonder why the Network Manager Applet icon constantly claims that I'm disconnected...)

I never use smilies, but there are exceptions that prove the rule

Openbox and Tint2 on Lucid Beta1. Loving it so far
OBT is a slightly modified Dyne, wallpaper is part of a collection from 4chan [Pokemon FTW] and no GTk or icons are shown because I hate them
Until I find a nice white-purple GTk, and get ACYL icons to work, they're staying hidden.

I apologize for not noticing this earlier (also surprised no one else did)
Did you run the script that came with ACYL? There are instructions on the ACYL page on gnome-look.org.
If you've already run the script and still only get black silhouettes (I could never spell this word right), then delete the ACYL folder in your .icons, and then reinstall it.
Hope this helps
Such a metro colour!!
Me likes.
Doraemon > Pokemon, btw (I know they're totally unrelated, but those are the only 2 "mons" that come to mind right now)
