I've seen a few mentions, here and there, asking if torrents of the CDs are available. After a bit of playing around I've setup a tracker to distribute these, along with a perma-seed with 100mbit up speed.
The tracker is at: http://mirror.h3o.in:6969/announce, The tracker is set to only manage a whitelist of torrents, which at the moment is the #! CDs. You can find the torrents here:
http://mirror.h3o.in/mirror/crunchbang/torrent/
I've talked with Corenominal and the .02 CDs will be available via torrents as soon as they are released, so keep an eye out
Ps. If you can seed, please do.

Much thanks, Nik. I'll be seeding as soon as the .02 releases are out.

Same here. I will break from my computer holiday to download and seed the images as soon as I can.

@Nik_Doof: I was wondering if you knew how much data/bandwidth the torrents have consumed? I hope they are not causing you any problems?

I'm not sure if you were on when I mentioned it on the IRC channel. I'm on a actual unlimited b/w (commited rate) deal on the server so as long as theres b/w I can keep pushing.
Last inspection i've pushed 55.67gb from the torrent client alone. Never mind the HTTP mirror

I was surprised that a #! 8.10.02 torrent was not listed on Linuxtracker.org so I added the desktop version torrent I found on ISOhunt.com. If you visit Linuxtracker, you might add your positive comments to the Linuxtracker torrent description page to help promote CrunchBang.
http://linuxtracker.org/index.php?page= … 5bb788499b
So far, Linuxtracker shows 330 completed downloads, 38 seeders, and 9 leechers. All these are from before posting to Linuxtracker.
Linuxtracker.org has been my main source for Linux torrents. What torrent sites do you use for Linux distros? Is CrunchBang listed on your favorite torrent site(s)?

LinuxTracker is ok, but farming out BT downloads to another tracker isn't a good idea. After all what happens if the tracker goes down?
We've got control of the tracker we use and can also answer for it being available and such

I always wondered what I was going to do with the server that sits dormant in my office - now I know...

I'll be happy to DL and seed to help distribute the bandwidth a bit. I'll get on it when I get home from work.
Edit: happily seeding
