folderpreview of images and copy and paste-problem

hi, 3 things make me crazy at the moment

1. copy and paste-function. why is my dashboard(is this the correct english word?) cleared, after i closed the window i copied it from?

2. i simple don't get it work to open images with the imageviewer! always firefox is used. i once got a helplink but i didn't figure what to do? is there a very very easy solutioN? thx;)

3. why is there sometimes a preview in my PCMan File Manager and sometimes not? fist i thought, hmmm, it works when the file is a JPG and not a jpg but not always. i can't figure out a rule sad

Hi, dilch. Unfortunately, I can't help with questions 1 and 3 but to answer your second question, if you right-click on an image, Open With > Open With Another Application, choose the application and then tick the box saying "Use as default for this kind of file", you should be good. smile

1. Same here. Meanwhile i'm used to not close the window i copied from...

3. In Pcmanfm: Edit/Preferences - in the first tab  increase the number for "Max size for thumbnail preview".

Also i replaced gpicview with the "mirage" image viewer because of mirage's thumbnail preview and editing features...
