I've just installed xmonad, and would like to remove openbox and most things related, to make as lean an install as possible, sorry if this has already been covered somewhere else, but google didn't provide much help, has anybody else done this? Thanks a lot
#! is the only distro that hasn't failed on me, and I've tried a lot

you can use synaptic package manager or the following command:
sudo apt-get purge openbox obconf obmenuOffline
That's done it
Thanks a lot!
What does purge do then? Is it just like remove but with dependencies?

"-- purge" removes configuration files also.
