I love that wallpaper, thank you for sharing it here. I am sure I have seen it before, but I am not too sure where, maybe Digg?! Either way, it is a great idea!

arpbook, could your desktop be more busy?
I have this idea for a simple application but no skills yet to produce it. I was thinking that this very kind of tip sheet would be great to have so that rather than a wallpaper it was invoked by a keybinding and faded into existence, with plenty of transparency of course, and faded out with mouse movement or keyboard activity. Possibly even sensing which application had focus and displaying tips/reminders for that particular application. This way one could have a huge cli tip/reminder sheet and still have a clean desktop in the noble #! manner.

omns... i'm waiting for your mod ......
A couple of quick ideas. I don't have a fullscreen monitor to test them on. Hope they're ok
Edit: The removal of my DeviantArt account sometime ago resulted in much of my artwork disappearing from posts on these forums. This was a poorly thought through decision at the time and for that I apologise to everyone.
I have salvaged much of it and placed it an archive here. When I get time I'll upload it somewhere a bit more visual like another deviant art account dedicated to the purpose. For now I hope the archive will help members things.

This is very handy. Sometimes I'll be in the middle of something and totally forget the command I'm supposed to use.

Very cool background. How do I make it 1024x768?
Kelean.
Never mind I forgot all I had to do was scale it with nitrogen.

Just a thought, and it's not something I can do, is there any way that this wallpaper can be fired up along with the terminal?
