For your first question, see if this thread helps:

For shortcuts, you need to edit the rc.xml file. You can just open your Openbox menu and go to Preferences > Openbox Config > Edit rc.xml

Re: fn-options on a laptop+keyboardbindings

it is because

xmodmap -e "keycode 121 = F21"
xmodmap -e "keycode 122 = F22"
xmodmap -e "keycode 123 = F23"

isn't saved. why this? any ideas? do i have to write it in my autostart or is tehre a "nice" solution

edit:

i have the same problems with wlan on off, brightness, does anybody know the commands?

Re: fn-options on a laptop+keyboardbindings

You need to create a ".Xmodmap" file in your home folder and then paste in:

keycode 121 = F21
keycode 122 = F22
keycode 123 = F23

Re: fn-options on a laptop+keyboardbindings

hmm had it already working, but now, after reinstalling, it's not longer working after a reboot. i'm always very confused when something isn't working the second time roll any ideas?
aumix is installed, the xmodmap looks like above, after doing the commands in a terminal, it works, but not after a reboot with the xmodmap alone...
