I consider all the extensions I use as essential because if I could live without them I would.

deviantTIDY
Greasemonkey
Hilarious Webcomic Manager*
Menu Editor
Redirect Cleaner
Tiny Menu
Tooltip Plus
YesScript*

*Not included on my Portable Firefox due to differences in surfing habits.

Re: which are your essential firefox add-ons?

duplicate tabs forgot/neglected-to-find this one before.  adds some features konqueror fans will appreciate.  more than just the name suggests, you can duplicate tabs, cloase all other tabs, ctr-select multiple tabs, detatch tabs, combine tabs, tidy all tabs in all windows to one window...  cool huh?  "handy" i think you'll agree.  once u use, you'll not want to go back.

Re: which are your essential firefox add-ons?

i used to load firefox down with addons like it was another OS but i recently got away from that. these are the few addons i couldn't go without:

adblock plus
download statusbar
add to search bar

i really like noscript and i always put on any windows system but i haven't really found a deep need for it on  linux

Re: which are your essential firefox add-ons?

yeah, this thread was inspired by that thread, but i wanted it even tighter n tidier a list rather than everyone listing 50 addons.  wink  looking for a more essential survivalist minimal kit.

~edit~o wait, i think it was a different thread... there must be another kicking around.  smile
