Hello
Got a small problem with thunar. The shortcut area doesn't show all mounted folders.
I'v got another ext3 partition mounted and 2 ntfs partitions in /mount
If I plug in a usb drive. It will appear there, no problem.
And I mean the place above the line, not under it :)

Can I add them myself?

Have you installed thunar-volman?
Have you added your drives to fstab?

You can add any shortcut you like to the shortcut area with drag and drop.

He meant the volume section, not the shortcuts.
@anonymous - I can't remember for sure but I don't think I had to install thunar-volman when I changed from PCman

From what I can see removing mounted drives from this section was a deliberate decision by the developers about 12 months ago. Some may see that as strange but they also believe that not having tabs is a feature of Thunar, so unusual seems to be the order of the day with Thunar

Ohh that's frustrating...thank you for helping me though

@omns - is it only internal mounted drives that don't show? My external ext3 disk does show in Thunar (1.0.1).

I need to try rebooting. Maybe it will pick it up from fstab...

No, it doesn't...
As 'omns' said Thunar doesn't automatically add mounted partitions to it's shortcuts, just manually add one to your own list, that's what I do, works just as well.
