The "Swedish Chef" is a Muppet character, isn't he?

The Bunsen Labs theme is sounding better and better.
Muppet link and plenty of scope for variations.
cool

Yes, and what happens to your system when you create a "Swedish Chef Edition" by mixing repos without knowing what you are doing?

I am surprised no one has figured it out yet.

You guys are going to either laugh or throw stuff at me when someone gets it.

According to my Daughter, the Swedish Chef says... "Bork, bork, bork" and throws spoons when he messes something up in the kitchen.

Re: The End ... The Beginning ... And THE NEW NAME

A few things to possibly improve that logo:
as a wallpaper, it's big enough, it looks good. At a small size, I can't even see the debian swirl.
I think the triangle bottle is enough on it's own, with a bigger or a few bigger swirl, or even a huge one, like a cloud (gotta experiment to see what looks good and which provides a stronger message).

My 2 cents, do what you want with it.

How about the logo is just the burner with a bigger swirl?

Not sure if this works though...

Considering alternative adjectives (which I've been known to use on occasion), "Bork, bork, bork is pretty cute, clean and to the point... So is throwing spoons.  tongue

On any account, my Daughter got a kick out of it... Thanks.  smile

Yeah I based this off of damo's previous work. I could only get the images so big before they started to artifact. Perhaps he could throw something together for us with the original images.

It was just a quick lo-res sketch. Guys seem to like it, so I'll do some work on it.

Absolutely intentional cool  The air hole in the bottom of the bunsen tube sort of cried out to be part of a bang symbol smile

Re: The End ... The Beginning ... And THE NEW NAME

I think "BunsenLabs" sounds better. "BunsenLabs beaker" can still be Testing

or

BunsenLabs X! == stable
BunsenLabs X!! aka beaker == testing

I did happen to think of "bork" when headed out the door to work - about half an hour after my previous post here - but I didn't have time to log back in.  Figured somebody else would have already thought of it by then anyway.

So we're all happy with Bunsen Labs as the working title?

I like BunsenLabs as the "distro", never mind just a working title smile

Me too! It just seems to fit nicely.

There might still be a little bit of slack over exactly what the distro itself might be called:
BunsenLabs
Bunsen Labs X!
BunsenOS
Bunsen Linux
Beaker
Honeydew Linux (from Bunsen Labs)
...
...

^How about we just go with "BunsenLabs" as working title? We can embellish the name or change it later if needed.
