I've had #! for a few days. I knew it was a little more advanced and figured I could learn from it. I've had nothing but issues since installing, though.
The latest was with a dual boot, and I guess the grub was screwed up somewhere...I'm not solid on this. What I did learn in my research, is that manually configuring fsck fixed it. However, Wi-Fi doesn't seem to exist, now. It doesn't even register (in #!; it works fine in Mint on the same machine), and the icon doesn't show in the panel anymore.
What's more, the font in the terminal is gone, so I get nothing but squares. I can still access through recovery mode, but I don't even know where to begin at this point. Searches haven't turned up much.

You are obviously frustrated.
If you want help you need to provide more information. What is on your hard drive for a start. Do you have more than Windows and #!? If you had Mint did you remove Mint and format the directories with the exception of home? What are you traying to install to, laptop, desktop, what brand, etc?
These are ideas you may want to include in your post. As is, no one could possibly guess what the issue is. gl
Just because you are paranoid, it doen't mean they are not out to get you

Do things work in a live session?
Time to move on!#

I'm in over my head. I added #! in hopes of learning more about Debian and Linux, but strings of problems are too overwhelming. I'm aware the issues are probably due to my inexperience, but I need to find something I can learn from at a slower pace and not screw everything up at one time.
I'll state that you CrunchBangers are awesome, though, and I appreciate what support I've received. Perhaps I'll be back when I'm a bit more polished on Linux innards.
