There are often requests for wallpapers in the Desktop Screenshot thread. It might be a good idea to start a thread to share links to favourite wallpapers.
*Please only include pictures if they are thumbnails that link to the original. Otherwise, just post the link (or both)*

I have this obsession with bones, you see. And with the band Faust and their x-ray album covers.
Original footage by Andrew Magill (posted to Flickr as My Foot 1). Creative Commons.
The obligatory screenshot(s) of a busy desktop on my old Compaq Evo D510 SFF desktop machine – it's not aesthetically pleasing, I'm afraid, but it shows e.g. the fact that I have changed from Firefox to Opera (version 10.00.4585.gcc4.qt4) because the former consumed ridiculous amounts of CPU on this box:

A nice one:
comes from here: http://ziza.ru/2009/12/29/fotopodborka_133_foto.html
ziza.ru is a good source of wallpapers, despite the Russian.

My desktop with the link to wallpaper. Be sure to check out more of the wallpapers they have, this is one of the best sources I ever found for wallpapers
No, seriously, almost all my wallpapers I regularly use are from that site.

And do you know about some calendar/wallpaper, full desktop size? I mean, I got very bad memory, and the first thing I want to see when I open my laptop is a calendar/agenda, full size. With transparency or not, but full size.
I'm looking for this but not lucky.

I don't know about calendar wallpapers, but `osmo -c` is damn close to fullscreen on my netbook. You could probably run it (with terminal ampersand obviously) via your autostart.sh.
EDIT: OK, not exactly fullscreen, but it takes up the center half of my screen.

You may even be able to edit the application settings for it in the rc.xml file, to make it always open to the size of the desktop.

Thanks for the info. Maybe it's not the place, sorry.
Osmo is not very beautiful, but it's ok, what I was looking for (light permanent calendar/wallpaper).
