Hello everyone,
I'm rather new to Linux (having tried Mint before only) so please be patient with me
What I'd like to do is edit this widget like thing on the desktop where the keyboard shortcuts are shown. I've edited the shortcuts and added some and therefore I want to change that display too. How can I do that? I have searched on Google but the problem is that I don't really know how to call this information widget thing (but I'm sure you understand what I mean - Google didn't
Thanks for your support
Tony

Invaluable references here: Configuration
Objects/Variables
Good tutorial here: Configure Conky System Monitor
The config for your desktop conky is .conkyrc, and is the best place to start playing with the configuration. Back it up first! If you mess up then the default file is /etc/skel/.conkyrc
Happy hacking

A great thanks to both of you. The linked sites have helped me a lot and I have had success now.
