Hi got a pc with 2 hdd. one with win7 and one clean,
what will give me a better performance, installing Crunchbang on the clean hdd or on a new partition ?
If i'l install on a new hdd, will i get the Grub select os window ?

You MAY have a bit better performance if you install #! on clean hdd (due to the files being on hdd physical part where they can be loaded faster). But I do not believe that speedup is important for most users (hdd cache, for example). For me certainly isn't.
(Much better performance gain is if you get hybrid HDD: large HDD with 4/(GB SDD inside ... see Seagate disks.)
As for the GRUB ... yes, in theory it should find your win partition. Most of the time it does. YMMW.
Postpone all your duties; if you die, you won't have to do them ..

One nice thing about having them on separate drives is if for some reason you can't start Windows from grub you can change the boot disk to the Windows disk in your BIOS and boot Windows normally if you don't have time to figure out what is wrong with grub.
