Hi all,
I reinstalled #! without formatting my home partition. It kept all of my (non-#!) settings etc, just as I wished. However, it also kept some old #! stuff, like the menu.xml. Now, when I try to log out, it says that cb-logout is not an executable or something like that.
So my question is: What files/folders should I remove from home in order to do a fresh install of #! without formatting home?
Thanks in advance,
Sam

I fixed the problem by copying a menu.xml from another #! system. Now I can shut down properly.

You can always get the default menu.xml (and other default files) from /etc/skel. You don't need to copy from another system.
The /etc/skel tree is used when you create a new user, so another option would have been to create a new user on your system and copy the config files from the home directory of the new user.
There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people.

Excellent, thanks. I'd forgotten that.
