Is anyone else having issues running Spideroak in the 64 bit version?
I'm getting the following error message when I try to launch the Spideroak GUI in Crunchbang 11 64 bit version:
$ /usr/bin/SpiderOak "sni-qt/3056" WARN 12:33:02.328 void StatusNotifierItemFactory::connectToSnw() Invalid interface to SNW_SERVICE
Any ideas on how to fix this?

From their FAQ:
Which Linux distros/releases are supported?
Since most distributions of Linux are constantly evolving and releasing new versions, we try and keep our clients to work with the latest releases as well. We currently (November 2011) support SpiderOak on the following distros:
Ubuntu - 10.04 (lucid), 10.10 (maverick), 11.04 (natty), 11.10 (oneiric)
Debian - Lenny, Squeeze
OpenSuSE - 11.3, 11.4
RedHat/CentOS - 5, 6
Fedora - 13, 14, 15
SlackwareThe builders for each distro is on a standalone platform, so supporting earlier releases is possible if the builder platform can meet the dependencies. If you get dependency errors when installing, it is because one of these components in the system are too old. (A common one is glibc.)
This list was last updated on 4-Nov-2011.
It seems dated.
Are you certain that it's meant to run with Debian Wheezy? Not much a person can do unless they actually run it.
I see from the SpiderOak 5.0.2 release page that there seems to be some issues with that release, and the link there leads to: SpiderOak 5.0.3
Maybe try that. Sounds like the SpiderOak people are not in sync.

Cheers and many thanks
