'Sup

Hey there, new to #!, but not to Linux. At home I run Mint as the desktop, but I am trying to run a little leaner on my Netbook. I did post a help thread, but I thought I'd introduce myself here, so as not to be rude.

Thanks,
J

Re: 'Sup

Welcome to CrunchBang, nakedj, and hope you enjoy the distro! My daughter runs Linux Mint on her laptop, so I get to see over her shoulder what's up with that one.

Re: 'Sup

Mint is fine, I like it better than Ubuntu. I needed to have something more MS-like for the wife and kids, so it fits that bill. And it all worked right away, which is good.

I like the minimalism with #! though.

welcome aboard.  LMDE on my wife's thinkpad. She's happy, and so am I.  As for me, well that's another story.

Re: 'Sup

Welcome to the club, nakedj.  I've played around with Linux Mint on two different occasions.  It's just not my cup of tea; to each his own, though.

Hi nakedj. Welcome and enjoy. Any particular story behind that handle?  big_smile
