Hello everyone.
I have decided that I want to quit installing others themes, etc. and i want to make my own. I don't anything about it though, especially for openbox.
Are there any resources to learn about how to theme, the different parts, etc.?
Thanks, in advance!
Michael

Hello Michael
Are you sure you want to begin down this road? Once you start you might not be able to stop!
Regarding resources for learning about creating themes, I think the best ones are probably already on your system; I started creating themes by inspecting and playing about with the theme directories on my own system. I would suggest copying an existing theme directory and experimenting by editing some of the files. Most themes are made up of various text files, so you should not find it too difficult.
The following command will copy CrunchBang's default theme into your personal themes directory:
cp -R /usr/share/themes/CrunchBang ~/.themes/new-theme-nameHope this helps. Let us know how you get on and do not forget to share your results!

This is the way I began to. Other sources of gtk themes are gnome-look.org and box-look.org
