[Solved] Mouse lag and empty desktop (Waldorf 64-bit)

Hello, I just installed Waldorf 64-bit. The installation went great, but after I logged in, a complete gray and completely empty desktop was shown, only with the mouse-cursor. The cursor was really laggy the first few minutes, then I could move it. The desktop remained empty and no keybindings worked at all, not even ctrl-alt-f1. Does anyone know why this is happening? I checked the md5 of the install-iso and it was correct, I also tried to boot and run the same iso via my laptop and it worked. Something must be wrong with my hardware?

Bump. Is it possible to solve this? I can run the Statler but not Waldorf. What might be the cause of this?

Sorry for the delay! About the problem. I boot from waldorf live media => the os is loading, I can see text output while it's booting, but then I enter the desktop and I can't do anything. I can't even open a terminal or a tty. How can I write "lspci -knn" If i cannot open a terminal?
Edit: I now booted statler live media and called the command "lspci -knn" in a terminal, this is the output:

Re: [Solved] Mouse lag and empty desktop (Waldorf 64-bit)

Hm I was hoping that wheezy going stable would fix this. But I still cannot use Waldorf. Anyone know what might cause this problem?

Edit: I talked to the people @debian, I had the same problem when installing debian 7. The problem was the non-free nvidia driver.
