Another crunchbang

Hello all,

Another crunchbang (crunchbanger??) journeyman here. I've been playing with linux for years but am mostly OSX based at work. Have come to crunchbang via suse, debian, ubuntu, debian again, mint debian, and arch in that order. Briefly toyed with freebsd a few days ago but got bored getting the most basic stuff running.

I'm an incurable distro hopper and I thought arch might be it but I found I couldn't keep up with the maintenance (my issue, not a 'fault' with arch btw).

Crunchbang looks very tidy indeed and I'm looking forward to using it over the coming months. Looking forward to wahldorf: could someone point me to the best thread on the new system, what to expect etc if such a thing exists?

regards,

red

Welcome to #! smile

Sorry, no one place holding info on Waldorf. As soon as a new "testing" ISO comes out, many of us install it and go on from there. Type Waldorf into the search-bar above and see what I mean.

...and for later...

Re: Another crunchbang

k, I just slipped down the rabbit hole.... waldorf, smxi scripts, something about licorice flashed by on the terminal even though I swear I selected 'debian' when Laurence Fishburn appeared.

nvidia card works.

look at all the pretties.
