[SOLVED!]Switching to enlightenment: How do I?

I have messed with xinitrc.  I cant get e17 to run.

What is the best way to do this?

Sorry for the lame topic. after even more searching I found out about just editing slim.conf to allow the use of another WM.

I'll keep in mind to search before all of this again.
