Unable to resolve host [Solved]

Afternoon all,
This is, I hope, just a niggle. Whenever I do a

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

I get the following before I type in my password

sudo: unable to resolve the host daddy

I then give my password and everything works as it should. If I type in

hostname

it returns

daddy

As I've said, it's just a niggle, but I'd like to find an answer to why it's happening.
Any help gratefully received
Cordially
Simon

I didn't say it was your fault... I said I was going to blame you.
