Hello, this is my first post.
I have been using linux for the past 4 years, mostly Ubuntu or Ubuntu derivatives. For the past year and a half or so I've been using it with fluxbox as my WM, but things just got sort of janky having installed KDE and XFCE alongside Unity (among others), what with different desktop environments setting their own defaults and whatnot (which was really only a problem when using fluxbox), so I decided to start anew with #!. It's pretty much just what I was looking for, a debian based system which uses APT for package management and openbox for a WM, and without all the bloat associated with *buntu.
So far things are going pretty well, there's just some things that I still need to figure out how to do (but I'll address them in a separate post on the proper board).
So, hello to all, glad to be here.

I love #! more than my own kids. I told them and they sympathized.

Welcome to #!
I think we all had at least one machine running Ubuntu 9.04 back in the day... and then I heard about this distro called Crunchsomething on a podcast.
