Hi,
The install of Crunchbang testing x64 failed (http://crunchbang.org/download/testing) with MultiSystem.
Yes, in fact, I use mostly MultiSystem to manage LiveUSBs : http://liveusb.info/dotclear/index.php?pages/install
During the install, the setup program required a CD but it doesn't exist : it's a LiveUSB !
Maybe the LiveUSB is not recognized. Formatted in Fat32 with GParted. Who is wrong ? Mr MultiSystem or Mr Waldorf ? I think it's Waldorf.
What can I do SuperCrunchBangers ?
The MD5 hash is ok (MD5: 7b2b4d7d202a9a09cfcbf5b9037ec5fc, checked with md5sum)
Thanks in advance,
Sincerely yours,

Trololo
15 posts and already on the list.
@op:
It seems that unetbootin and "derivates" don't work with some live images. I managed to get it to work with LiveLinuxUSB (LiLiUSB) and learnfree's LiveUSBInstall at http://live.learnfree.eu/ but not with unetbootin and UniversalUSB
Indeed, the recommended and nearly failsafe method is dd if=source of=destination
@CD missing:
there is a way to mount the USB as CD: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … usb-stick/

Thanks.
Dd method is ok. I didn't know http://live.learnfree.eu/.
But with MultiSystem method and this link (http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … usb-stick/), it's not ok.
When I do this : "cp -R /cdrom/dists/sid /cdrom/dists/wheezy"
I have then : "cp: can't create directory '/cdrom/dists/wheezy' : Read-only file system"
What can I do ?
Thx

you probably have to try it with sudo in front

It's not ok, no. The real problem is a ramdisk bug. Developers, can you please fix this ?
