Hi e.m. fields,
not come across wbar before, but I'm definitely going to give it a go!
One thing though - you have the following line:
To autostart Wbar add this line to your autostart.sh: #Launch Wbar (sleep 6s && Wbar) &
You should point out that this should be to seperate lines in your autostart.sh, otherwise the whole line will be ignored as comment.
Something like:
To autostart Wbar add these lines to your autostart.sh:
#Launch Wbar
(sleep 6s && Wbar) &
To edit your autostart.sh file, right click on the desktop, and from the menu, select 'Preferences' -> 'Openbox Config' -> 'Edit autostart.sh'

Its covered a bit in the HOWTO: just to add my bit. I found that if you add wbar to autostart but have customised it, then it opens in default settings.
Solution:
Open wbarconf in terminator, then press refresh (which will load your customisations) copy the command that the refresh does and put that into autostart.sh mine is:
(sleep 10s && wbar -bpress -above-desk -zoomf 1.3 -idist 6.0 -isize 40.0) &
