Well, I take/make lots of pics and edit all those that I don't for wallness. Maybe an actual thread to archive some of these would be appropriate.

These should all be licensed CC for your enjoyment and intended to be FOSS imagery.

Well, first off, ya might wanna reconsider the title of this thread. yikes I'm not sure about NorCal, but in most parts of the US (probably most other English-speaking countries too) "money shot" has a certain West Hollywood connotation.

That's a lovely pic! I especially like how the camera angle draws the eye to the weathering on the tin roof.

lol yeah, it was a bit crude. Renamed it for the sake of rectitude yikes as the CrunchRanger. Glad you like it. This barn really took my breath away when seeing it, while driving through Burney and I just had to snap the pic.

haha, that's before we got covered up.. In the words of The Weather Channel, "The storm doors are open now". On a good note, it's brought the winter steelhead up stream XD.

Nice shot of Mount Shasta, rstrcogburn. If you take the Coast Starlight Amtrak train up the West Coast, the train travels past Shasta around sunrise (in the spring, anyway) and it's a very cool sunrise behind the mountain.

i was surprised to see a fellow CB'r from the state of Jefferson today! i was just there over the xmas holiday, took a few snapshots of shasta myself! was shocked to see so little snow on the peak in december. was kinda sad...

Hell yeah bro! Nice shots. You and any other fellow Jeffersonians feel free to dump shots in this thread. I'm gonna take a closer look at your exif data. What are you using for your lenswork BTW? THat first one is epic. Is that Shasta-yama in the BG?

yeah, that.s shasta in the BG on both shots. camera was just a little P&S (samsung?). the effect was gimped, from my paraphrased memory of how to simulate lomo shots after the fact. i like to make stuff look old. lol

I've always loved the way film looked, anyways those are great pictures, I love how you have that careless attitude with photography in most of your pictures where you just take a picture of anything you think looks beautiful, you get really great shots that way. smile

@awesomefist thanx for the compliments. you nailed it right on the head man. I just enjoy taking shots and isolating certain moods. Yeah grain is the good stuff. I'm working on getting some better film. Hopefully it will be the secret sauce for the next series of shots.
