Im using archlinux and I encountered a problem when upgrading my system yesterday. To solve the problem, I had to temporarily remove wicd then reinstalled it afterward. However, after reinstalling wicd, the network manager doesnt show up on my tint2 system tray anymore though it still auto connects to network when booting up. I hope somebody here could help me out.

First make sure you have wicd-gtk installed. If you already do and it doesn't help, you could just add wicd-client to your auto-start file.
BTW you know Arch has its own forums right?

Why do you have both wicd and networkmanager?
