howdy

Hey what's good in the hood? First, thank you for such an awesome distro. I'm fairly new to Linux only been using it about 2 months, went through a couple distros already (the usuals) and found I wasn't entering a stripped down enough atmosphere as I would have liked. I think the name lured me here more then anything, and the Statler quotes solidified the deal. I totally dig what you've done here, and honestly I was expecting to have to put some work into setting up the system but nearly everything worked right after install. Still customizing the DE is a lot more along the lines of what I want to be doing then the options I was having in Ubuntu, etc with many GUI tools. Infact the only things that don't work on my hp dv3500 laptop are the Mediasmart touch sensors. (volume, skip, play/pause. etc.). Perhaps you have advice on where to find a driver for such? I know Ubuntu had a driver (albeit it was kind of whacky, hypersensitive volume buttons) so can this be used? Looking foward to learning thru this distro and making it my own. but I already love it! Thanks!
